シソ類[6][7][8][9](シソるい、lamiids)はAPG植物分類体系のもとで認識される被子植物のクレードである。シソ類の名称は Bremer et al. (2002) で初めて用いられたものであり、APG植物分類体系の中では APG III において初めて使われたものである[1][10]。また、シソ類は Chase et al. (1993) でキク目群 I (asterids I) と呼ばれた群であり[1][5]、APG I (1998) および APG II (2003) では真正キク類 I(しんせいキクるい いち、euasterids I)と呼ばれていた[11][12]。APG IV (2016) では8目で構成される[13][14]。被子植物の中でも大きなクレードで、約40,000–50,000種、被子植物の種の約15%を含む[1][14][2]。
